Perth

Perth Concert HallThe city of Perth or the "Fair City" as it is also known is relatively small compared to some other cities in Scotland but it makes up for this in the quality of the shops, restaurants, buildings and parks. The main high street and some roads off are pedestrianised allowing shoppers to wander freely. Here you can find all your main high street shops and some that are a bit more unusual. When the shopping is getting too much for you there are a good range of cafes and restaurants including the well known Costa And Cafe Nero. There is an abundance of car parking facilities nearby.

Fergusson GalleryPerth Theatre sits at the start of High Street and within a short distance you will also find Perth Concert Hall, Perth Museum and Art Gallery, Fergusson Gallery, AK Bell Library and the Playhouse Cinema.

Scone PalaceOn the outskirts of Perth you can visit the famous Scone Palace where the kings and queens of Scotland were once crowned. If you are feeling lucky you can also visit Perth Racecourse which is situated near Scone. If you want to venture slightly further afield you can tour the beautiful area to the north of Perth known as Highland Perthshire. Here you will find an abundance of mountains, hills, glens, rivers, waterfalls and lochs to satisfy all levels of walkers and tourists. Be sure to have a camera with you!
