The Bunkhouse, Glassie Farm is a working farm of 287 acres which provides hilltop self catering Bunkhouse units with fantastic views overlooking the nearby town of Aberfeldy and the River Tay valley. They are situated 1,000 feet above sea level on a south facing mountainside. The steading has been converted to a very high standard throughout and can therefore make you feel extremely comfortable and relaxed after a busy day out on the local hills and lochs. Which also makes this the perfect location for group activities, such as club gatherings, stag and hen parties and outdoor activity weekends or just a place to re-charge and take in scenery with family and friends.
Wester Caputh Independant Hostel. The hostel is in the village of Caputh in rural Perthshire, a field away from the River Tay and four miles from the historic town of Dunkeld (butcher, deli, grocer, smokehouse, pubs, restaurants, art gallery, train station).
They offer a warm, friendly, inexpensive and very comfortable base for groups or individuals. The area is rich with history and many activities are available locally – rafting & canoeing, walking, road cycling, mountain biking, bird watching and golf. A 25’ converted hayloft, flooded with natural daylight, is popular with groups for meditation, yoga, meetings, wine tastings and art courses, etc.
The hostel has five separate bedrooms sleeping 18 in bunk beds in total. The large living space has a wood burning stove and piano & other musical instruments if you want to provide your own entertainment, along with a big kitchen area equipped for serious cooking. Meals can be provided.
