Homecoming Scotland 2009
Homecoming Scotland 2009 is a year long celebration of the 250th birthday of the much loved and most famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns . There is also a celebration of some of Scotland’s great contributions to the world: golf , whisky , great minds and innovations and Scotland’s rich culture and heritage.
Homecoming Scotland is a Scottish Government initiative managed by EventScotland in partnership with VisitScotland. In 2009 there will be special events throughout the length and breadth of Scotland with over 200 already in place and many more currently being organised. See the list of events .
